DSP 9000 HS

DSP 9000HS Tactical Military Radio Handset Ciphering System

The DSP 9000HS Tactical Military Radio Handset Ciphering System is capable of securing virtually any HF, VHF or UHF half-duplex radio application. This handset radio encryptor is optimized for secure military manpack radio applications. The handset radio encryptor replaces the standard radio handset, adding less than a half kilogram to the weight of the manpack radio. Operation of the DSP 9000HS Tactical Military Radio Handset Ciphering System is virtually transparent to the radio operator. Once the Local Keys are loaded with a TCC SmartModule, the operator uses the DSP 9000HS like any other Push-to-Talk (PTT) handset.

The radio encryptor encrypts voice communications over all narrowband channels, including HF/SSB. Built to military specification standards, the radio encryptor can perform under extreme environmental conditions and over extremely poor quality channels. Advanced key management provides storage of 200 local keys which can be changed automatically without operator intervention. Auto Key Change mode periodically updates the Local Key in use. Down-line key indexing automatically sets all radio decryptors to the correct key. Options include an advanced Crypto Management System (CMS) and Select Call (SELCALL) mode. SELCALL allows the radio operator to selectively send a ciphered transmission to only one receiving decryptor, creating a Point-to-Point secure radio link. The DSP 9000HS Tactical Military Radio Handset Ciphering System is compatible with the DSP 9000 Tactical Military Radio Ciphering System and the DSP 9000 Tactical Military Radio Ciphering Implant Board.

The DSP 9000HS Tactical Military Radio Handset Ciphering System is perfect for ground troops applications.

The Crypto Management System (CMS) generates Local Keys and configuration parameters for the DSP 9000HS Tactical Military Radio Handset Ciphering System.
