TECHNICAL COMMUNICATIONS CORPORATION EXPANDS

COMMERCIAL SECURITY PRODUCTS MARKET WORLDWIDE

 

CONCORD, MA, December 14, 1998 – Technical Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:TCCO) today announced that its market for commercial telephone and facsimile security products, which had previously been sold internationally, has now expanded to become worldwide. TCC’s exclusive distribution agreement with General Dynamics Advanced Technology Systems (ATS) now includes the United States, Europe, and Canada, enabling TCC to sell and service General Dynamics ATS commercial security products in all countries. Included in this product family are the Model 4100 Secure Voice/Data System, Models 3700 and 3710 Secure Facsimile systems, and the Model 3600 Telephone Security System.

"We can now provide a single source of supply for multinational companies and other organizations that require a high level of security for their communications, both within their countries and internationally. We can also provide worldwide customer service and support, which is a valuable vendor capability for this group of customers."
