Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Technical Communications Corporation, a world-wide leader in the design and manufacturing of secure communications equipment is searching for an Electrical Engineer to assist in their Manufacturing, Quality and Product Development Teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Set quality assurance testing models for inspections and analysis of components, materials in process and finished goods
- Set up, measure, and evaluate a wide variety of products during verification and validation testing
- Conduct root-cause analysis of failures found
- Continuously look for ways to improve existing test methods and processes, as well as devise new test methods and develop written procedures where needed
- Design and development of tools and fixtures for in-house production & test
- Model existing and in-development products for reliability, risk, and optimization analysis
- Assist in the selection, qualification, documentation, and management of electrical components
The position requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and 0-4 years of experience in the field of electrical assembly and test. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures with in the field of electrical circuit board design and assembly. Can create instructions and can use pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
